Aber „Kinder schichthöherer Eltern gehen eher auf das gym, besuchen eher eine Hochschule, erhalten von den Eltern eher finanzielle Unterstützungen [und] erreichen bessere Berufe“. Das würde bedeuten, dass soziale Herkunft die schulischen Leistungen und somit die berufliche Laufbahn negativ beeinflusst. Dadurch wäre dieser Weg zum Vermögen für einige Gruppen erschwert.
